Turning features on or off from the Pages menu
Use the Pages menu to show or hide any section of your directory — Blog, Events, Offers, Featured, and more.
Pages is now the single control panel for your directory's features
Every section of your directory — Blog, Events, Offers, Featured, Add Business, Pricing, Categories, Owner Login, Claim Listing, and the sign-up pop-up — can be turned on or off from Pages in the left menu. When a feature is off, its navigation link disappears and visitors who try to access the URL directly are redirected to your homepage.
How to toggle a feature
- Go to Pages in the left menu.
- Find the card for the feature you want to change (e.g. "Events", "Offers").
- Click the toggle switch on the card. Green = on, grey = off.
- The change takes effect on the live site immediately — no Save button needed.
Features that are always on
Home and Browse Directory cannot be turned off — they are the core of every directory.
Offers — extra option
When Offers is turned on, a second toggle appears: Require login to view offers. When enabled, visitors must create a free account before seeing offer details — a useful incentive to grow your member list.
Sign-up Pop-up
The Sign-up Pop-up card also has a toggle. When off, the pop-up never fires. When on, it appears 5 seconds after a guest visitor's second page view. See the article Setting up the sign-up pop-up for configuration options.
What changed from before
Previously, visibility toggles for built-in links (Blog, Events, Featured, etc.) lived in Website → Navigation. Those toggles have been removed. All visibility is now controlled from Pages. The Navigation tab in Branding now only handles link renaming and custom links.
