Subscribe to your directory's blog feed (RSS)

Every directory blog publishes RSS feeds that readers, Feedly, Zapier, Make and other websites can subscribe to.

Your blog has RSS feeds

Every directory on a plan that includes Blog & Articles automatically publishes standard RSS 2.0 feeds. Readers can follow your blog in any feed reader (Feedly, Inoreader, NetNewsWire), and tools such as Zapier or Make can watch a feed to post new articles to social media or a newsletter.

Feed addresses

  • All published articles: https://your-domain/blog/feed.xml
  • One listing's articles: https://your-domain/business/<listing-slug>/feed.xml
  • Articles from a business category: https://your-domain/blog/category/<category-slug>/feed.xml

Replace your-domain with your directory's address. If you have connected a custom domain, every link inside the feed uses that domain.

What each feed contains

The 50 most recent published articles, newest first. Each entry includes the title, a link to the article on your directory, the excerpt, the full article HTML, the publish date, the author (the listing name or your directory), and the cover image as an enclosure. Draft and pending articles never appear.

Feed autodiscovery

Your blog page and every listing page include a hidden <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml"> tag, so browsers and feed readers find the feed when someone pastes the page address.

Articles imported from other blogs

If you import articles via RSS, the feed entry carries an "Originally published at …" note and a <source> element pointing at the original article.

Troubleshooting

  • The feed returns "Not found": the directory's plan does not include Blog & Articles, or the listing / category slug is wrong.
  • A new article is missing: feeds refresh within a few minutes of publishing. Check the article is Published, not pending review.
