What the sign-up pop-up does

The sign-up pop-up is an overlay that appears automatically for guest visitors. It fires 5 seconds after a visitor lands on their second page in the same session — giving them time to engage with your content before being prompted to register. Once a visitor dismisses or completes the pop-up, it does not appear again during that session.

Turning the pop-up on or off

  1. Go to Pages in the left menu.
  2. Find the Sign-up Pop-up card.
  3. Toggle it on (green) or off (grey).

Editing the pop-up content

  1. Go to Pages → Sign-up Pop-up.
  2. Click any section to expand and edit it:
  • Headline and Body — the main heading and persuasive paragraph.
  • Benefit List — the bullet-point list of member benefits.
  • Buttons & Layout — primary button text, dismiss link text, and desktop layout choice.

Choosing a layout

In Buttons & Layout choose between:

  • Two columns (default) — marketing copy left, sign-up form right. No scrolling on desktop.
  • Single column — narrower stacked layout.

On mobile the pop-up is always a single-column bottom sheet regardless of this setting.

Tips

  • Keep your headline benefit-focused — "Get exclusive deals" converts better than "Create an account".
  • The dismiss link text is editable. A self-deprecating label (e.g. "No thanks, I'll miss out") can increase conversions.
  • The pop-up only shows to guests — signed-in members never see it.
