Where to find branding settings

Go to Branding in the left sidebar. The page is split into sections: Logo, Colours, and Typography.

Logo

  • Upload a PNG, SVG, or JPG. SVG is preferred because it scales perfectly on retina screens.
  • For best results use a horizontal logo with a transparent background.
  • The logo appears in the site header, the admin login page, and email notifications.

Primary colour

The primary colour is used for buttons, links, category highlights, and the active state in navigation. Click the colour swatch to open the colour picker, or type a hex code directly.

Choose a colour that has enough contrast against white text — Local Directory AI calculates the contrast ratio and warns you if it falls below the WCAG AA threshold.

Dark mode

Your directory automatically supports dark mode. The primary colour is adjusted for dark backgrounds automatically, but you can preview the dark version using the toggle in the Branding preview panel.

Typography

Select from a curated list of Google Font pairings for headings and body text. Changes apply to the public directory only, not the admin dashboard.
