Completing the setup checklist

Where is the checklist?

After you log in, go to Overview. The checklist appears at the top of the page and shows your overall setup completion percentage.

Checklist steps explained

• Directory name and tagline — Set these in Settings → General. They appear in your site's header and browser tab.
• Logo and favicon — Upload in Branding → Logo. PNG or SVG, ideally square for the favicon.
• Brand colours — Pick a primary colour that matches your niche in Branding → Colours.
• At least one category — Go to Categories and create the main groupings for your listings (e.g. Restaurants, Retail, Services).
• At least one listing — Add a business in Listings → Add listing.
• Custom domain — Connect your domain in Settings → Domain.
• Payment method — If you want to charge for listings, connect Stripe in Monetization.

Can I skip items?

Yes — the checklist is a guide, not a gate. Your directory is publicly accessible as soon as you have at least one listing. However, completing all steps before promoting your directory gives visitors the best first impression.
